The Book Family invites you to experience the harvest on our nostalgic family farm. Create lasting memories with your family and friends. Explore the whole farm. Get up close and personal with the sights and smells of fall as you embark on a search for the perfect pumpkin. Get lost in our amazing hay and corn maze. Feed and enjoy the antics of friendly farm animals. Visit a village of community created scarecrow. Bring home the farm by purchasing home grown harvest produce & handmade decoration from the general store. On weekends, go back in time and experience a horse drawn wagon ride! All this and more at the Book Family Farm. In addition to our annual harvest festival, we have a horse-drawn carriage & wagon that can be used for weddings, christmas caroling, parades and many other special events. Heart Attack Racing started on Thanksgiving of 2005 when the whole Linn family & friends came up for the weekend. It was too blustery outside to go riding. Everyone was hanging out in the shop when Ray Linn started riding Steve Vinson's Honda 50 around, in between all the other dirt bikes, quads, and snowmobiles. So we moved everything out of the way to make a circle track inside our 40x40 shop. Let the games begin! One thing led to another and we had so much fun that we had to find a way to share it with our friends and neighbors. We did a lot of research and found that go-karts would be the safest and most fun way to go. We are located at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in Chico. Hope to see you soon!

Thunderhill Raceway Park is a recreational motorsports complex unique to the North state area. It is located on highway 162, just seven miles west of Interstate 5 near the town of Willows. The track features a three mile road course home to club racing events, open track days, and driving schools that accommodates both cars and motorcycles. Apart from the primary appeal of the road course, Thunderhill offers organized events such as rally cross, autocross, cross country, motorcycle events and motocross. The result is a wide variety of experiences that cannot be found elsewhere. Thunderhill Park has all the amenities to support the needs of it's customers. The Giant Club house can be used for parties, business meetings and weddings as well as a viewing area for the motorsports activities in progress. Full service food catering is also available along with state-of-the art audio visual equipment. There are plug-ins for RVs, air conditioned meeting rooms and viewing towers, plus enclosed garages for personal storage and event use. Thunderhill Park has a new Mini-mart, where track goers can purchase Thunderhill shirts and hats, cold beverages and ice cream, and racing supplies. Specialty fuels and highway fuels are also available. One of the most unique values of Thunderhill Park is that you can spend a day on the track driving your street car or riding your motors cycle having fun while learning important life-saving skills.
